Rain has been a spoilsport for IPL 2023 Final. The weather has been dry for most part of the tournament. It did effect CSK vs LSG match in Lucknow. But IPL 2023 has been exciting and amazing from other seasons. There have been more 200 scores and exciting chases as well. But rain has decided to spoil IPL 2023 final not once but twice.
GT and CSK have reached the IPL 2023 final. The match has all the ingredients to become a cracker of a contest. Jonitha Gandhi and Devine entertained crowd during the mid-innings break. But rain decided to come down heavy as soon as CSK started their chase. GT has scored 214/4 in their 20 overs. CSK needs to score 215 in 20 overs to win their fifth title. IPL 2023 saw huge disappointment with final being halted by rain.
CSK are on 4/0 in 0.3 overs. Now, DLS method might have to come into play with rain determining the targets. CSK needs to be 43/0 to win the title in 5 overs, a minimum number of overs to determine the winner by play. But with rain making conditions wet on the ground even if Final goes for full 20 overs, it will be a difficult task for fielders and bowlers to grip. IPL 2023 final has been an anti-climax for what has been a cracker of a season. CSK might be asked to chase a huge total in less overs. Or GT bowlers might find it tough to contain with wet conditions. Let’s hope ground staff gets the ground ready in time and witness who will be IPL 2023 winner by playing!
