England and New Zealand are playing the Third Test at Leeds. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson scored 48 runs and Tom Latham scored 76 runs in the second innings to give England some tough score to chase. But again Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell had to come together and put on a good partnership.

They came together at 161/5 and scored 113 runs together. Mitchell got out at 274 after scoring 56 runs. Blundell kept going on but Jack Leach took the remaining 4 wickets quickly and New Zealand got all out for 326. They scored 329 in first innings. Blundell scored 88 runs to become the highest scorer for the second innings.

Jack Leach got 5 wickets in the first innings and took another 5 wickets in the second innings. This is the first time he took 10 wickets in a Test match. He even put up his best bowling figures for an innings by taking 5 wickets for 66 runs in 32.2 overs.

England had to chase down 296 runs in the fourth innings of the third Test. They won the first and second tests by chasing down big scores. Zak Crawley and Ollie Pope put up 34 runs. Crawley looked in great touch but got out after scoring 25 runs in 31 balls.

Ollie Pope and Joe Root came together. They scored 132 runs in their partnership and both are not out. They will continue on the fifth day. Ollie Pope is on 81 runs and Joe Root scored 55 runs. England still have to score 113 runs to win. Now, they are 183/2.
