He won the gold at the event while Pakistani Athlete Arshad Nadeem won Silver Medal. Neeraj Chopra made India proud and delivered a compassionate message too.

He stated that even Javelin Throw finals have been seen as India vs Pakistan and he did not like it. He stated that he did feel pressure as Indians started looking at as a Indo-Pak war. Neeraj Chopra stated that Europeans are tough to beat and he did not want to think about it as Indo-Pak war at all.
