MS Dhoni has led CSK aka Chennai Super Kings to 5th IPL Title. He has been most successful Captian of IPL and he even crossed 250 matches in IPL as a player. He captained more than 200 matches for CSK. MS Dhoni played IPL 2023 with a knee injury. He did not bat fluently or run between the wickets as fast as he normally does. MS Dhoni after the tournament got admitted to Mumbai Kokilaben Hospital for knee surgery.
The legendary Captain Cool has been diagnosed with tissue damage in the knee area. Doctors have performed laproscopic surgery on MS Dhoni left knee. Currently, he is recovering and the surgery has been successful. After a day or two, he will be discharged. Doctors have asked him to join rehab but increase intensity gradually. MS Dhoni will be in rehab for 2-3 months. Post that he will take a decision about coming back and playing in IPL 2024.
CSK CEO and other close sources to the cricketer have confirmed about the same. MS Dhoni will take a decision only after his recovery and rehab. Once, he is able to get back to his full fitness, MS Dhoni will announce about his plans for IPL 2024 season. As off now, CSK team management is putting no pressure on him to play. But fans want to watch him once again playing a full season. Let’s hope MS Dhoni will be playing at full strength in IPL 2024, if he does. He showed great grit and determination to play full season with injury for his fans.
