KL Rahul helped India chase 188 runs target in the first ODI.
India had to bowl first and at first looked like they are going to give away huge total. Mohammad Shami (3/17), Mohammad Siraj (3/29), Ravindra Jadeja (2/46) helped India come back into the game after Mitchell Marsh (81) innings. KL Rahul took an amazing catch in Hardik Pandya bowling to help India break flourishing partnership. Then fast bowlers took over. With 189 runs target India started chase by losing 3 quick wickets. KL Rahul had to play a respectable innings to help India.
With the help of Hardik Pandya (25) and Ravindra Jadeja (45), KL Rahul lead India to victory. Mitchell Starc (3/49), Marcus Stoinis (2/27) made things hard for India in the chase with early wickets. KL Rahul scored 75 out off 91 balls. India won the match by 5 wickets and scored 191/5. Ravindra Jadeja won the Player of the Match for his batting and bowling.
