In39.4 overs Sri Lanka got bowled out for 215. Kuldeep Yadav (3/51), Mohammed Siraj (3/30), Umran Malik (2/48), Axar Patel (1/16) bowled well for India and restricted Sri Lanka. India started chase by losing Rohit Sharma (17), Shubman Gill (21), Virat Kohli (4) early for 62/3.

KL Rahul formed partnerships with Shreyas Iyer (28) and Hardik Pandya (36). They took India to 161/5 from 62/3. Axar Patel (21) and Kuldeep Yadav (10) helped KL Rahul in steering India home. Lahiru Kumara (2/64), Kasun Rajitha (1/46), Chamika Karunaratne (2/51) took wickets against India for Sri Lanka. India won the game by scoring 219/6 in 43.2 overs with 4 wickets in hand. Kuldeep Yadav has been awarded Player of the Match award.
