New Zealand captain and premiere batsman, Kane Williamson will miss the third T20I on November 22, 2022 at Napier. Kane Williamson will be going to attend his pre-arranged medical appointment on the day. New Zealand Team medical staff have cleared that this appointment is not related to his elbow injury, he has been looking to overcome for a year. Kane Williamson missed some games Internationally and even in IPL, due to it.

May be this injury, might be the reason for his drop in form and it will take time for him to recover feel the doctors. Kane Williamson is expected to join the team for ODIs and captain 50-Over team for all the three matches. Indian team won the second T20I held at Mount Maunganui, with 65 runs margin. Suryakumar Yadav scored 111 runs off 51 balls to become Player of the Match. Kane Williamson scored 62 runs from 51 balls in the chase but his strike rate came under scanner again.

In the Third T20I, Tim Southee will captain the team and Mark Chapman will replace Kane Williamson in the squad. Match will be held at Napier and Indian team doesn’t expect it to be a batter-friendly wicket. Hardik Pandya is expected to win the series for India has the captain. Well, India again shows their prowess in winning a bilateral series, if they manage to win at Napier on 22nd November. Kane Williamson might fin it more suitable for him to play 50-Over games just like Steve Smith.
