
New Zealand and Pakistan are playing at Karachi. On Day 4 of the Test, New Zealand great batsman Kane Williamson has set up a win for his team against Pakistan. New Zealand has ended Day 3 on 440/6 with Kane Williamson on 105 and Ish Sodhi on 1. Both of them went on to put a huge partnership of 159 runs, which has put their team on the course for a famous win.

Kane Williamson continued to attack on spinners in his classy style and Ish Sodhi gave him able support. Ish Sodhi scored 65 runs off 180 balls and on the other hand, Kane Williamson scored 183 by the time Ish Sodhi got out and New Zealand have been comfortably placed with a lead of 157 runs. Abrar Ahmed dismissed Ish Sodhi and Nauman Ali dismissed Captain Tim Southee, almost immediately. Abrar Ahmed immediately sent Neil Wagner back for a duck. With Ajaz Patel for company, Kane Williamson completed his 200 and New Zealand scored 612/9. Tim Southee declared the innings with New Zealand 174 runs ahead.

Abrar Ahmed took 5/205 and Nauman Ali took 3/185, Mohammad Wasim took 1/105 for Pakistan. They had to erase deficit of 174 runs to avoid innings defeat against New Zealand but Pakistan lost opener Abdullah Shafique (17) and Shan Masood (10). Imam-ul-Haq is unbeaten on 45 and Nauman Ali on 4. Pakistan ended the day on 77/2. They have to survive against inspired New Zealand bowlers and Pakistan cannot force a victory and they might look for a draw.

Kane Williamson has made his 25th ton, a memorable double ton and his innings speaks of great class and one to remember for ages against quality spin. Kane Williamson looked in great form and he used reverse sweeps and sweeps perfectly to tackle and tire spinners.
