Jofra Archer has been struggling with elbow injury. He has been attending rehabilation and recovery from 2021. Jofra Archer has been scheduled to play in IPL 2022 and IPL 2023. He missed previous season and this year he played 5 matches. Jofra Archer has been called back to UK by ECB for rehab and recovery.
Now, they have announced that he has been ruled of England Summer. The pace bowler’s elbow fracture has reoccurred and hence, Jofra Archer has been ruled out. James Anderson, who has strained his leg has been added to the 15-man squad for Ireland Test. The Test will start England Summer Cricket calendar for 2023. Jofra Archer won’t be part of Ashes 2023, that starts from June 16th.
Ben Foakes has been rested and Jonathan Bairstow will keep for Ireland Test. Jofra Archer has made his debut in 2019 and became an Ashes Legend in the same year, 2023. His stock rose in World Cricket after that performance. Well, he isn’t been able to return to his best after being hampered by injuries.
