
Chetan Sharma, current Chief Selector, has tendered resignation to his post. A News channel ran a sting operation on Chetan Sharma and He has been caught making derivative comments about Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly spat, Jasprit Bumrah injury. As they have been found to be derogatory towards BCCI and Sourav Ganguly, he has been asked to tender resignation. The resignation of Chetan Sharma has been accepted by Jay Shah, BCCI Secretary.
Sourav Ganguly, one of Indian Legendary cricketers and All-Time best captains, served as BCCI President before board members did not want him to continue post his tenure has been finished. Chetan Sharma has been reinstated as Chief Selector, after board dismissed Selection Panel owing to ICC T20 World Cup, Semi-final loss. Sourav Ganguly maintained that he respects Virat Kohli, even though they did have some differences. Chetan Sharma in his interview, incurred that Sourav Ganguly disliked Virat Kohli and hence, he lost captaincy.

Well, BCCI has started restricting media interaction for their members post this incident to save the confidentiality of several important issues. Chetan Sharma played for India in 1980’s after the famous 1983 World Cup victory. He represented India in 65 ODI matches and 57 Test matches, internationally.
