India Men once got bowled out for 105 against Bangladesh at Mirpur. In return, they bowled out opposition for 58 and won the match. India Women repeated similar kind of performance in a T20I against the same nation. They scored 95/8 in 20 overs. India Women bowled out Bangladesh Women for 87, in the chase. When everyone thought India Women will be humiliated by opponent, they in turn, humiliated the opponent.
Smriti Mandhana(13) and Shafali Verma(19) gave a steady start by scoring 33 runs in 4 overs. India Women won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana scored 38 runs off 55 balls, holding one end. Deepti Sharma(3/12) and Shafali Verma(3/15) rattled other batters. Shafali Verma in the last over took 3 wickets and one batter got run out. Bangladesh ended up scoring just 87 runs in chase in 20 overs. Deepti Sharma got Player of the match for her bowling performance. India Women have won the T20I series with 2-0 and one more match is yet to be played.
