
Bangladesh ended the fourth day with score on 272/6. Shakib-Al-Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz came back on the fifth day to score a draw against India. The Indian bowlers wanted to get the four wickets to win the match. India has given a target of 513 runs for Bangladesh in two days. Bangladesh managed to bat through the fourth day and openers Zakir Hasan (100), Najmul Hossain Shanto (67) have put on 124 runs for the first wicket.

Umesh Yadav sent back Najmul Hossain Shanto and Yasir Ali (5), Litton Das (19), Mushfiqur Rahim (23), Nurul Hasan (3) got out while Zakir Hasan completed his 100 off 224 balls. Shakib-Al-Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz stayed at the wicket by the end of the day attacking Indian spinners. Axar Patel got three wickets and Kuldeep Yadav got 1 wicket. Ravichandran Ashwin got Zakir Hasan out.

India started the day with Mohammad Siraj and he got Mehidy Hasan Miraz (13) out. Shakib-Al-Hasan formed the strike and went after bowlers. He scored 50 runs in 80 balls and got out after scoring 84. India got him at 320 and then Taijul Islam, Ebadot Hossain got out at 324. India won the match by 188 runs and then they start second Test on 22nd December at Mirpur.
