India and Australia are playing in World Test Championship, WTC Final. Australia has an upper hand in the game. They have a lead of 443 runs against India. Now, India has to chase down 444 runs on the final day to win. They are on 164/3 in 40 overs. Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane has to play out of their skins in the chase.
On the final day, India has to score 280 runs in three sessions. In the chase, batters have been very positive from the start. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill went after lose deliveries. Shubman Gill got out to a low catch by Cameron Green at gully in Scott Boland bowling. The decision turned out to be controversial as several replays showed that ball could have touched the ground. India lost their prime in-form opener for such a decision.

Rohit Sharma looked more composed and in-form. But he got out to Nathan Lyon on 43. Cheteshwar Pujara also looked highly positive but scored only 27 runs. Virat Kohli(44) and Ajinkya Rahane(20) are key now for India in the chase. After Steve Smith century, Australia did not get big partnerships in first innings and got all-out for 469. India, in reply, struggled to get to 296.

Ajinkya Rahane(89) missed out on a deserving hundred. He played despite hand injury. Shardul Thakur(51) and Ravindra Jadeja(48) saved India from following on in the first innings. Australia scored 270/8 and declared in the second innings. India bowled better but Alex Carey with 66 and Mitchell Starc with 41 pushed the lead beyond 400. India needs Virat Kohli to step-up in this crucial Test match to win the Test Mace.
