The officials have tried their best to see if 5-over could be possible. But rain did not allow spectators any chance to enjoy even one ball of cricket. Ireland wanted the third match to get more exposure and give India a fight.

Team India is in Ireland for three T20I series. India has decided to give star pacer Jasprit Bumrah and IPL star Rinku Singh chances in this series. Jasprit Bumrah showcased his prowess in both the matches played. Rinku Singh got an opportunity to shine in the second match. Rituraj Gaikwad also scored a good fifty in the second match. Now, India needed to test some more players in the third T20I.

But the weather had other plans. The third T20I got abandoned due to rain. The officials have tried their best to see if 5-over could be possible. But rain did not allow spectators any chance to enjoy even one ball of cricket. Ireland wanted the third match to happen to get more exposure and give India a fight. While India in West Indies did not showcase enough promise in while ball cricket, in Ireland Bumrah became a difference with the ball.

Bumrah took wickets in both the matches played. He got wickets in the first over on his come back and bowled a maiden over in the second match in the last over. He is sure to make a big progress in Asia Cup, soon to start. Selectors and India fans have huge hopes from him and seniors Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in upcoming Asia Cup. Well, this India vs Ireland series has become a testing ground for Bumrah to showcase his skills. We hope he will work harder on his fitness as he is key for prospects of India in World Cup 2023 and Asia Cup.
