Rest of the batsmen could not score as freely as they needed to. Ayush Badoni tried his best to save NRR for LSG in the end against GT. Mohit Sharma(4/29) took most wickets for his team. Noor Ahmad(1/26), Rashid Khan(1/34) and Mohammed Shami(1/37) took crucial wickets for GT.
With this win, Gujarat Titans, GT has moved to 16 points before any other team in IPL 2023. They have sealed their qualification for Qualifiers with this win. In 11 matches, they have won 8 and most of other teams could struggle to win 8 with how table is poised. GT would now look to end their league stage in Top 2 positions. They have 3 points difference with Top 2nd team CSK. With this clinical batting performance, GT has sent shock tremors into other teams.
