Ben Stokes came good with bat in the last two matches for English. This helped them to qualify for Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. Pak needed to chase the runs from just 5 overs to qualify. It is impossible for them to even bat with a positive attitude. Players just went through their motions in the rest of the match.
Agha Salman(51), Babar Azam(38), Mohammad Rizwan(36) and towards end Haris Rauf(35) did well. Pakistan scored 244 in 43.3 overs. David Willey took 3 wickets and scored 15 runs from 5 balls. England won by 93 runs in this match. Well, with this England eliminated Pakistan with them from this World Cup.
