Afghanistan has surpassed the expectations of everyone in CWC 2023. They won against teams like England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka in this tournament. With great confidence they played against Netherlands. Even Netherlands have created a huge sensation by winning against South Africa and Bangladesh. They wanted to win against Afghans and improve their standing.
As the top 8 teams in the table standings will qualify to Champions Trophy, they wanted to win this. Afghanistan wanted to win this for Semi-Final qualification.
