CSK is following its old and gold strategy in the IPL auction 2022

The Chennai Super Kings management has been continuing the same old strategy of retaining their previous team. The success of CSK lies in repeating the same team without many changes.

The CSK players are attached to fans and the team like a family. Despite it having aged players when compared to other teams, the success rate was high because they play and fight like a family.

In this mega auction also, it retained almost all players that played in 2021. It missed Du Plessis in the auction. CSK started its first buy with Robin Utthapa with 2cr followed by DJ Bravo for 4.4crores, Ambati Rayudu for 6.75cr, and Deepak Chahar for 14cr.

In 2018, he was bought for 80 lakhs and now, he was for 14cr.  So far, it was the highest bid by CSK in IPL auction 2022.
