The team did not release MS Dhoni, even when he wanted to just be a player and not a captain or when he retired from International Cricket and decided to not play in Domestic Cricket too. And Chennai Super Kings never left Dwayne Bravo, out of their squad in all these years. Now, they have decided to look past him in IPL 2023.
Everyone wanted to know if Chennai Super Kings will retain Ravindra Jadeja or not. The talk about severed relationships between Team management and Jadeja have surfaced too. Chennai Super Kings have decided to listen to MS Dhoni and go with his conviction. CEO of Chennai Super Kings talking about the retentions and release said, ” It is hard for us to let go of our players and if there is any way to get them back, we will. But for now, we are going by MS Dhoni as Captain and we believe in him.”
Robin Uthappa has decided to retire from all forms of cricket and Chennai Super Kings have decided to release Adam Milne and Chris Jordan as well. Here is the list released the team on their website.

Chennai Super Kings have 7 slots left to fill and Rs.20.45 crores in their purse to spend before going to Mini Auction. Team thanked Dwayne Bravo by calling him a legend and highly valuable asset. Looks like Daddy’s Army is looking to get-in more young blood, this time.
