Australia have completely humiliated India in the second ODI. Both the teams played at Visakhapatnam on 19th March. Australia won the toss and elected to field first. India got bowled out for 117 in 26 overs. Mitchell Starc took his 9th 5-wicket haul to give this famous victory for Australia. India bowled out Australia for 188 in the first ODI and they bowled out India for 117 in second ODI.
The interesting thing is that India had to fight hard to score 189 to win in the first one. KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja had to save India. Australia just dominated India in the second ODI. Mitchell Marsh continuing his form scored 66 (36) and Travis Head scored 51 (30). Australia chased down 117 by scoring 121/0 in 11 overs.
Mohammad Shami gave away 29 runs and Mohammad Siraj gave away 37 runs. Mitchell Marsh went after Hardik Pandya in one over and hit 3 sixes. Travis Head as hit Siraj for consecutive 4 4’s. Marsh has hit 6 6’s and 6 4’s. Travis Head has hit 10 4’s. Australia have just reminded India that they cannot take them lightly. The ODI series stands 1-1 equal for both the teams. Australia and India will play 3rd ODI at Chennai on 22nd March.
