Australia has been able to wrap up England innings quickly on Day 3 of Lord’s Test. Australia and England are playing Ashes 2023 in England. They have already won the first Birmingham Test. Now, at Lord’s also they are on a strong position to force a huge victory. Australia bowled out England for 325 runs in 76.2 Overs.
Harry Brook scored 50 runs in just 68 balls. Except him everyone else failed. Jonny Bairstow(16), Stuart Broad(12) tried their best but England could not play a long innings. Australia got a lead of 91 runs in the first innings. Travis Head(2/17), Cameron Green(1/54), Nathan Lyon(1/35), Pat Cummins(1/46), Josh Hazlewood(2/71) and Mitchell Starc(3/88) got wickets for Australia. They have made their team look at long lead to put up a target for England.

Australia came out again in aggressive mode in their second innings. Usman Khawaja scored 58 runs in 120 balls and he is key for Australia in second innings. Marnus Labuschagne(30) and David Warner(25) got starts but could not convert. Steven Smith is on the crease with Usman Khawaja at the end of 45 overs in second innings. Australia has scored 130/2 and has a formidable lead of 221 runs. Still, there are two more days left in the match. If England can’t find quick wickets then they could be looking at a 400 chase in fourth innings.
