India Team has been testing their best probable XI for CWC 2023. The rooster for them is planned to give enough practice for players to be ready for CWC. Now, India has announced their squad for Asia Cup. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli have been brought back from their rest for the tournament. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul are being re-called into the India team.
Shreyas Iyer has been injured for a long time and he did not play in IPL too. KL Rahul got injured while playing in the IPL. Shreyas Iyer is hoping to be ready to play for India in CWC 2023. KL Rahul has reportedly got another niggle and he has to work hard for recovery. Will he be able play for India in Asia Cup, we have to wait and see.

Asia Cup will be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, this year. Actually, Pakistan had to hold the tournament but India has declined to partipate for security reasons. Sri Lanka will hold the matches of India and even Final, too. Pakistan had to agree after ACC took the decision and ICC agreed to it. India will be looking at this tournament to fix their final XI for World Cup.
Jasprit Bumrah will be testing his stamina to last for ODIs. But India might need to go with 7 batters and 4 bowlers set-up in this tournament. Except for Hardik Pandya, no one else is seen as a batting all-rounder. Bowlers picked cannot be trusted as a batter. So, Shardul Thakur might be given more opportunities than normal. India will be looking at different compositions in the tournament by the looks of it.
