Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar, has been waiting to get into Ranji Trophy and Indian domestic cricket, IPL teams from a long time training with Mumbai and Maharashtra teams. The youngster took training in London, Australia to perfect his bowling action, batting as he wanted to become a pace bowling all-rounder. Arjun Tendulkar shifted to Goa from Mumbai to play Ranji Trophy, for this season.
Arjun Tendulkar debuted for Goa on 13th December, 2022. On his debut like his father, Sachin Tendulkar scored a first class century. Even Sachin Tendulkar played his first Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai or Bombay, back in 1988, on 11th December, aged 15 years and 232 days. Arjun Tendulkar played his first Ranji innings for Goa, on 14th December 2022, aged 23 years. Sachin scored 100 on debut and Arjun Tendulkar scored 120 runs off 207 balls, in his first innings.

In August 2022, Arjun Tendulkar made a decision to move to Goa from Mumbai and he got the place in Goa squad in November and final XI spot in December. Goa is batting first in this match and Arjun Tendulkar came to bat at No.7 position and batted with Suyash Prabhudessai, who scored 212 runs off 416 balls. Goa is playing against Rajasthan in the match and they have scored 493/8 in 163.2 overs. Goa is hoping for Arjun Tendulkar to become their all-rounder for this season.
