Telangana Government: The escalating tensions in the middle east, which were initiated with mutual attacks between Iran and US have a huge impact on global level affecting the economy and resources. There is currently a shortage of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas, and the concerns in Telangana are addressed by the government.

Telangana Government made it clear, that there is no truth in the online claims that there is shortage of cooking gas that is LPG in our country. They confirmed that there is no problem and the whole system is working properly and there is no issue regarding cooking gas supply.

 

According to the sources, where citizens have panicked after fake news trending about the shortage of fuel, has caused a little discomfort. But there is no shortage.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas took to their X account and stated, ”Clarification: LPG Refill Booking Timings

Reports circulating in sections of the news and on social media about changes in LPG refill booking norms are incorrect.

There is no change in LPG refill booking norms.

• Minimum gap between two refill bookings remains:
– 25 days in urban areas
– 45 days in rural areas

• These timelines continue as per existing guidelines.

Please, avoid panic booking. There is adequate LPG availability to meet demand.”

Also, the Telangana Government have announced to reach out to a toll free number 1967 in any kind of false news spread or unethical practices regarding the LPG booking or availablity.
