YSRCP has been able to win all four local body constituencies in MLC elections. The voting has been conducted on 13th of this month. Srikakulam, West Godavari and Kurnool districts had four local body constituencies and YSRCP won in all of them. The majority that the candidates of YSRCP have gained in these constituencies is a testimony of popularity of the government. Still, Teacher and Graduate constituencies votes count is going on.
YSRCP candidates and party workers celebrated the local body consitituencies win. Narthu Ramarao won in Srikakulam with a huge majority. He got 632 votes out of 752 possible. K Srinivas and Vanka Ravindranath, YSRCP candidates won in West Godavari constituencies. In Kurnool, Dr Madhusudan got 988 votes out of total 1136 votes.
This made party workers celebrate with great joy everywhere. Main opposition TDP could not give competition to YSRCP candidates in local body constituencies. As there are many votes in Teachers and Graduates constituencies, counting is taking time. YSRCP candidates have thanked AP CM Jagan for his governance and popularity, as that gave them this kind of sweeping victory.
