Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while inaugurating a few development projects in Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh, criticized the Congress party as the mother of terrorism. The BJP leader also said that the Grand Old Party insults people’s faith in Sri Rama.
UP will go to polls in early 2022. At a time when the BJP is looking at retaining power, Yogi has slammed the Congress party as well as UP’s major regional parties, SP and BSP.
In his speech, Yogi said that before he came to power, rations were given on the basis of religion. He suggested that, under his rule, there is no such communal colour to welfare schemes.
Yogi also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ agenda has meant that the poor have access to facilities like toilets at home.
