Vallabhaneni Vamsi after winning as MLA from Gannavaram as TDP candidate, decided to shift to YSRCP. Ever since, he joined YSRCP, he and Kodali Nani have been verbally attacking Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, TDP leaders. They both have been specially concentrating on Opposition Leader, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu personally, too. Vallabhaneni Vamsi, in a recent media interaction, again commented on NCBN and Nara Lokesh. This made Krishna district TDP leaders to comment on Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
This angered supporters of Vallbhaneni Vamsi and they have launched an attack on Gannavaram TDP Office. NTV has reported that Vamsi’s car has made rounds around the TDP office as his supporters started attacking the office. Vallabhaneni Vamsi is not someone to take harsh words lightly, and this incident can be counted as a prime example. Politically, this will be viewed as YSRCP vs TDP fight, rather than any kind of personal angst turning into political rivalry.
Already, TDP has been making claims that YSRCP supporters have been attacking their party workers and even killing them. Now, this incident will further that image in the eyes of public. Vallabhaneni Vamsi supporters have broke in to the office, damaged the furniture, broken glass items and put party car on fire.
They did not even allow Fire engine to cross them and help bring the fire under control. Nara Chandra Babu Naidu asked Governor to intervene as YSRCP MLAs are acting like goons. He asked how can CM Jagan allow all these criminal acts. Vallabhaneni Vamsi supporters and TDP supporters have sit in protest of each other on the Kolkata – Chennai highway and many vehicles have been halted for hours.
