Telangana Minister and son of CM KCR, KTR, has talked to press at Pragati Bhavan in Hyderabad. He stated that he doesn’t think Telangana Elections will be held in December. As CM KCR has gone for elections in December of 2018, next elections should be held in December, 2023. KTR talking to press, expressed his view that elections in Telangana will happen only after 6 months. He stated that he doesn’t feel that notification will be given out in October. KTR stated that whenever elections will be held, CM KCR and BRS will once again form government.
He further stated that NDA and BJP might go for Jamili elections or not, but BRS cannot be stopped from forming government again. KTR asked people of Telangana to choose between Delhi parties and local leaders. He stated that KCR has been an exemplary leader and progressive.
KTR stated that he has reports from ground level sources to believe that people of Telangana are with them. KTR also stated that people have the choice to choose between those who work for Delhi and those who work their home state. He said that he is confident in CM KCR and BRS winning 90 MLA seats, this time around to form government for third time.
KTR went on to state that he doesn’t feel to necessiate discussions about who is a bigger threat to their party. He stated that KCR has always been Telangana’s favorite son and he will remain so. He also stated that recently, the party has released candidates list and it has been received well by public and party cadre.
He stated that Telangana people cannot lose 10 years of development by giving power to corrupt leaders in next elections. KTR concluded his press meet by stating that BRS will look improve their stand Nation-wide but not at the price of Telangana state development and welfare of public.
