Telangana Government issues ultimatum for Junior Panchayat Secretaries

The Panchayat Raj Secretary to Government, Sri Sandeep Kumar Sultania, issued orders regarding the same. Telangana Goverment has asked Junior Panchayat Secretaries to attend their duties by 5 PM, on 9th May. If they do not, they will be dismissed and suspended from their jobs.

Telangana Government has been serious about Junior Panchayat Secretaries. They have been appointed in 2019 April. Junior Panchayat Secretaries have gone on indefinite strike demanding Telangana Government to regularize them. They have been on protest from 29th of April. Telanagana Government has now issued notices asking them to attend to duties, immediately.

Junior Panchayat Secretaries and Outsourcing Panchayat Secretaries have been on indefinite strike as their probationary period has come to an end. Telangana Government has given them 3 years of probationary period. As Government is still thinking about their regularisation, they have gone on indefinite strike. Panchayat Raj Minister, Errabelli Dayakar Rao met CM KCR about the same issue and Telangana Government will take a decision soon. Several Opposition leaders have extended their support to protesting workers.
