TDP has been one of the most popular politicial parties in Andhra Pradesh. The political party has formed first government in the newly formed state post bifurcation of United AP into Telangana and AP. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, NCBN, has become first Chief Minister of the new state. CM Jagan has won the elections and formed government in 2019. His party YSRCP and TDP have become huge rivals and their rivalry has been the topic of discussion, all these years. Now, TDP supporters have come on roads to agitate against their chief NCBN arrest.

YSRCP has been firm on investigating into any sort of scams and financial misdeeds done in the previous government. They have started inquires and constituted committees to look into the matters. TDP supporters have been against this and several people have stated that they are being harassed by YSRCP MLAs, supporters. NCBN has been highly vocal about government harassing them ever since, he started 2024 election campaigning. Now, Nara Chandrababu Naidu arrest has brought TDP supporters and workers on the roads and they have been forcing people to close shops and even threatening to burn buses.

In the meantime, TDP workers have been creating ruckus in the state, so that judge might feel pressure to give bail to NCBN. Lawyers of the opposition leader have been stating that economical offence cannot be non-bailable and NCBN should come out soon. TDP supporters have been continuing with their bandhs, hartals and rastarokos to put pressure on government and judiciary. Currently, NCBN is in SIT office, Tadepallygudem.
