Swathi Maliwal, Delhi Commission for Women Panel Chief, has made a revelation that few harrassers have been giving her rape threats for raising her voice against inclusion of director Sajid Khan. Swathi Maliwal has asked Bigg Boss 16 makers to ban popular comedian, writer and director, Sajid Kamran Khan as he has been accused by more than 10 women as a sexual harasser and abuser during the height of #MeToo movement. Swathi Maliwal wrote a letter stating the same to Information and Broadcast Minister, Anurag Thakur.

Sajid Khan has been sacked from Housefull 4 director job as several women including some big names like Mandana Karimi, Sherlyn Chopra. Rachel White posted her allegations against him first and rest almost 11 women alleged him of being sexually abusive, rude towards them. Sajid Khan has been banned by Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association after allegations surfaced against him and revoked it after an year due to lack of “proper evidences”. Swathi Maliwal pointed these facts out in her letter and asked Minister to force removal of Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss 16.
Salman Khan and makers of Bigg Boss 16 have been silent on this issue. Swathi Maliwal has now moved to Delhi police with the screenshots of threats on Instagram and filed FIR against those accounts. The issue seems to be turning political quick and fast.
