Population Regulation bill to be introduced in Rajya Sabha

The BJP MP will introduce a private member’s bill in the Rajya Sabha on the Population Regulation act. MP Rakesh Sinha will introduce the private member’s bill in the House. The House will discuss the issue on  6th August.

The Monsoon Parliamentary sessions are set to begin on the 19th of this month and will wind up on 13th August. And there will be 19 business days for this parliamentary session. In this context, MP Rakesh Sinha will introduce this private member’s bill. The timings of the session will be from 11 AM- 6 PM for both Houses.

On the occasion of World Population Day, UP CM Yogi Adityanath unveiled ‘UP Population Policy2021-30’. Speaking on the occasion, he said that population growth is an obstacle to development.  He said population growth is the root cause of all problems including inequalities in society. Over this, opposition parties hit out hard at Yogi Adityanath and called it an election stunt before assembly polls.
