Pawan Kalyan has contested in 2019 Assembly elections without alliances. He kept equal distance from TDP, BJP while he has been against YSRCP. Pawan Kalyan has been a friend to TDP and BJP, in recent years. He stated that YSRCP Government has been too bad and they need to fight them united. Pawan Kalyan at Mangalagiri Janasena office stated that he is ready for alliances.
He announced that in 2014, he took decision about alliance with TDP, only after consultations. Now also, Pawan Kalyan stated that he is calling for alliances after careful consultations with his party cadre and think tank. He stated that priority of Janasena in 2024 elections is to stop YSRCP from winning again. Pawan Kalyan also clearly stated that Janasena cannot ask for CM candidature.
He stated that if they had won 30-40 seats, he could have asked for CM seat like HD Kumaraswamy of JD(S) in Karnataka. Pawan Kalyan said that Janasena will examine the seats where they have winning chances and they will contest there. He stated that they will go in alliance with those political parties who are ready to give them that importance. Pawan Kalyan also said that he supports farmers and do not want any cases to be filed on them. He clearly stated that from 3rd June, he will be in AP as there is a chance for preponing of elections. Pawan Kalyan asked people to support Janasena for brighter future of AP.
