Pakistan Supreme Court has asked NAB – National Accountability Bureau, to immediately produce Imran Khan in front of them. He has been arrested from Islamabad High Court by rangers. The rangers have handed over Imran Khan to NAB. He has been arrested in Al Qadir trust case. Pakistan Government has stated that Imran Khan has been found to have taken Rs.5000 crores worth bribes in the case.
Imran Khan has stated that he is innocent and not corrupt. He has stated that Pakistan Government is looking to kill him fearing PTI coming back to power. Pakistan is reeling due to inflation and people are looking for relief from terrorism and poverty. Imran Khan arrest has created unrest in the country.
People have gone on to the streets and started violent protests against Pakistan government. Pakistan Supreme Court has asked NAB to immediately produce Imran Khan in front of them. They have stated that Rangers have disobeyed Court by entering and arresting person in Court. Supreme Court has pronounced Imran Khan arrest illegal and asked him to be released immediately.
