The Center has so far provided over 25 crore covid-19 vaccine doses free of cost to the states and union territories, the health ministry said. It said States and Union Territories still have over 1.33 crore vaccine doses.

The Center has said that over three lakh doses of vaccine will be distributed to states and union territories in the next three days. The central government is taking strict measures to prevent corona. The number of covid positive cases has been declining with the actions of the central government.

On 7th June, PM Modi addressed the nation and announced that the age group above 18 will be inoculated free of cost from 21st June. And he also said that this vaccination drive across the nation will be in the purview of the central government and state governments, UTs will be given Covid vaccinations for free of cost. He also announced giving free ration to 80cr people under the Garib Kalyan scheme till Diwali.

In India, daily covid cases have come down one lakh and the recovery rate is also pretty good.
