Nara Chandrababu Naidu is in Rajamundry Jail from 10th September. He has been arrested by APCID officials in Skill Development Scam case. Nara Chandrababu Naidu has put up quash petition of FIR in ACB and AP High Courts. Both have dismissed the petition and now, his lawyers have launched motion petition in Supreme Court. Nara Chandrababu Naidu has to wait till next week for his petitions to come to bench.
Additionally, he has filed bail and CID custody petitions in ACB Court. The Court has decided to postpone both the petitions to 4th October. Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been hoping to get bail before 2nd October. Also, he has asked ACB Court to not let him further be in CID custody any further. Nara Chandrababu Naidu hoped for a good news from Supreme Court. He wanted his quash petition to go in front of bench on 27th September.

But Justice SVS Batti has deferred to sit on bench for this petition. As he hails from AP, he had reservations to hear arguments about the same. Lawyers have asked CJI to list the petition at a closer date. But CJI has listed the petition to 3rd October. Nara Chandrababu Naidu lawyers have stated that their client has “Z” category security and he is a high profile politician. They argued that he should not be arrested according to FIR and Governor’s permission according to Section 17(A) has not been taken as well by APCID. Well, Nara Chandrababu Naidu will have to wait till 3rd and 4th October to get bail and move forward his cases in Courts.
