MLC Kavitha has appeared before ED for their inquiry session. She did not talk to media about what they have asked her. ED have given her summons to appear before them on 20th March. MLC Kavitha rejected to appear before them on 16th March. She has gone to Supreme Court against ED summons. The Court has decided to hear arguments on 24th March. MLC Kavitha decided to appear before ED after deliberation.
On the other hand, ED has submitted Arun Ramachadran Pillai before Delhi Court. They did not seek further custody. Delhi Court has sent him to judicial custody till 3rd April. ED has said that they have completed their inquiry of Arun Ramachandran Pillai. He has been recognized as representative of MLC Kavitha by ED. They arrested him in Delhi Liquor Scam case for handing bribes to Delhi ministers as a representative of MLC Kavitha.
She has been asked to appear before ED in the same case. They have already arrested Delhi Ex-Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, in this case. MLC Kavitha has been said to have offered bribes for amendments in the Delhi Excise Policy to allow the liquor business. For now, ED did not announce about arrest of MLC Kavitha. The suspense about her arrest continues as we post this update.
