MLC Kavitha has decided to not appear in front of ED on 16th March. There have been few rumours about her ill-health. But she has decided to wait for Supreme Court judgement for her petition against ED notices. MLC Kavitha has been in Delhi for protests against Women Reservation bill. She came back to Hyderabad without appearing for ED investigation. MLC Kavitha has been summoned again by ED to appear for inquiry.
ED has asked for increase in custody of Arun Ramachandran Pillai. They have presented him in front of ED Court in Rouse Avenue, Delhi. They said that they need more time to interrogate Arun Ramachandran Pillai. This is due to MLC Kavitha not attending ED investigation. They have stated that they have decided to inquire accused along with proofs and others involved. MLC Kavitha not appearing for ED investigation has made them to ask for extension in custody of Arun Pillai.
Well, MLC Kavitha has been one of the accused in Delhi Liquor Scam case. Delhi government has formulated new Delhi Excise Policy and scrapped it after scam allegations. Manish Sisodia has been questioned and arrested by ED and CBI in this case. Now, MLC Kavitha and her representative, Arun Pillai are being investigated in the same case along with few other BRS leaders.
