Manish Sisodia has submitted bail plea in Delhi Court. He has been arrested in Delhi Liquor Scam and Money Laundering case. Manish Sisodia has been identified as major conspirator in drawing new Delhi Excise Policy. He has been arrested by ED and CBI has part of their investigation in the cases. Manish Sisodia has gone to Supreme Court before but he has been asked to go to Delhi Court, first.
He stated in his bail plea that his wife is unwell and his son is in Foreign country. So, Manish Sisodia asked for bail from CBI and Judicial Custody. CBI has objected for his plea and stated that he could tamper with proofs. Lawyers of Manish Sisodia stated that there are proofs that he took bribes and he cannot be arrested and denied bail. On the other hand, CBI argued that he changed his mobile numbers very frequently and he cannot be trusted.
ED on the other hand asked for his custody in money laundering case. Manish Sisodia will be under ED custody till 22nd March. Court has given him Judicial Custody till 3rd April. Arguments about Manish Sisodia bail plea will be heard again on 24th March in Court. For now, Manish Sisodia will remain in jail and he worked as ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.
