Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, TSRTC employees have been asking for Government to merge them. They have been asking Government to treat them as Government employees. Telangana CM KCR has told the employees that he will take a decision favorable to them. After long deliberation, Telangana Cabinet has taken a decision on 31st July. KTR has announced the cabinet decision to press.
He stated that the procedure to draft to merge TSRTC will be completed soon. A total of 43,373 Telangana employees will be Government employees after the merging goes through. A sub-committee has been constituted to draft the rules and regulations of this merger. KTR further announced that Telangana cabinet took decision to extend Hyderbad Metro. In 3 to 4 years, they will finish construction and extension from Raidurg to Shamshabad Airport, from Miyapur to Isnapur. More new lanes will be extended and double decker Metro will be constructed soon.
KTR further announced that Telangana Cabinet has announced compensation for rain damage in the state. They have announced that Rs.500 crores will be released immediately for relief operations. Telangana Cabinet has also decided to honor two Electricity board employees and a teacher who saved lives without any fear. Telangana Cabinet meeting went on for 5 hours at new Secretariat. KTR and ministers stated that the meeting has been fruitful and many developmental plans and issues have been addressed at length.
