Telangana Government has been keen on MLAs bribing case and following it up with special interest. Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been aggressive in their investigation and they have given notices to all witnesses and related to accused to appear for questioning. One of them is BL Santhosh, BJP Leader. SIT has asked him to appear in front of them on 26th or 28th November. BL Santhosh has gone to High Court to dismiss the notices.

BL Santhosh has asked permission from High Court to let him skip the questioning session. His lawyers have submitted affidavits that BL Santhosh has prior commitments on the given dates and he cannot attend the questioning sessions. They have also asked High Court to direct SIT officials to not act like Police and give them proper time, as their client doesn’t intend to be misrepresented or hurried or treated like a criminal.

Now, High Court has directed SIT to cancel the notices and schedule according to BL Santhosh schedule. High Court also directed SIT to give appropriate respect to the witnesses and give them proper time to attend the questioning session. Regarding further arguments based on BL Santhosh petition, High Court will meet again on 5th December.
