Dmitry Medvedev, Russian politician and close friend of President Vladmir Putin, has warned ICC. International Criminal Court (ICC) for issuing arrest warrant against Putin and Maria Lvova-Belova for unlawful deportation of kids in Ukraine. ICC has found Putin as guilty for aggressively pushing war in Ukraine. Dmitry Medvedev has asked judges to have a close look at skies as they could be attacked by a missile. He is working as Security Council Deputy Chairman. Dmitry Medvedev expressed dissatisfaction about the trial and stated that harshest consequences will be there.
He said, “They decided to put on trail a President of a nuclear power that isn’t party to the ICC. For the same reasons as US and some other countries. It’s obvious that the directive is harshest possible.” Dmitry Medvedev suggested that judges should not have raised their hands against a nuclear power. He also called ICC as pathetic International Organization. Dmitry Medvedev stated that Russia is not a NATO country to sit silent and not wage a war.
Well, Russia has been critical of US involvement in Russia Ukraine War. Dmitry Medvedev has expressed the same in harsh words. He threatened ICC and warned US to not poke into their internal affairs. US and European Union have asked ICC in Hague to take action on Russia President Vladmir Putin for the war and war crimes. Warning message from Dmitry Medvedev suggests that Russia is ready to go for World War than bowing down to any pressure.
