North Korea has been a very secretive country in the world. Kim Jong Un, President of North Korea, has been known for being a very ruthless dictator. He closed the borders of the country due to Covid-19 pandemic. He still did not open borders of North Korea fearing another wave. This has resulted in deaths due to starvation in the country.
The president has introduced sanctions and almost stopped imports of food grains from China. Due to their ongoing feud with South Korea, people are not allowed to import any food from the nation. North Korea people have been reporting to die due to malnutrition and starving. Kim Jong Un’s government has denied any such news reports. North Korea doesn’t allow any foreign news reporters in their country.
They have not allowed any private news reports other than state sponsored news networks. North Korea have executed people trying to import ration from other countries. Kim Jong Un has strict plans against people going against his orders. Now, World news networks have reported deaths due to starvation from citizen journalists reporting them under anonymity. Well, let’s hope UN intervenes and North Korea leaders would come to senses soon.
