
CBI has summoned Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi Liquor Scam Case. The scam has been caused due to Delhi Excise Policy introduced in 2020. Delhi government has scrapped this policy now. CBI has arrested Delhi ex-deputy CM Manish Sisodia in this case, already. ED has sent summons to MLC Kavitha from Telangana, related to this case. CBI has now questioned Arvind Kejriwal.
He came to CBI office around 12 noon on 16th April. He has been kept in the office for 9 hours by CBI. Arvind Kejriwal talking to media stated that the case is a fake. He stated that CBI has no case and they have asked him 56 questions. He also stated that he will speak more in detail about the case in Assembly on 17th April. He claimed that the case has been brought into light just to corner AAP.

He said that AAP or Aam Aadmi Party has become National Party. To show them as dishonest and corrupt, to majorly malign their growing image BJP brought this case into light. He again stated that CBI has been used by Union Government and they’re respectfully doing their duty. He called the scam has “created and fake” one. He claimed that there is no scam and Excise Policy has been used as an excuse to malign AAP image. CBI did not release any media bite or statement regarding CM Arvind Kejriwal interrogation or investigation or questioning.
