CBI has been investigating MP Vivekananda Reddy murder case. They have been asking Uday Kumar Reddy and MP Avinash Reddy to come for inquiry. Avinash Reddy went to Telangana High Court asking for anticipatory bail. He stated that CBI is trying hard to “find proofs” against him when he is innocent. Sunitha, daughter of Vivekananda Reddy moved to Supreme Court against his plea. Supreme Court has let the decision to be made by High Court. CBI has now filed counter plea in HC to not grant bail for Avinash or Uday Kumar.
They have stated that they have arrested Uday Kumar Reddy after obtaining proofs. CBI has also stated that Avinash Reddy is also involved in consficating evidences and hiding proofs. CBI has stated both should not be given bail as there are chances of them damaging proofs. It also stated that they still have to find major number of details and they need both of them in remand.
CBI has been aggressive ever since Supreme Court has stated that HC cannot stop Avinash Reddy arrest. Also, CBI has been in strong belief that Avinash Reddy is majorly involved in the murder case. They have arrested Avinash Reddy’s father Bhaskar Reddy, already in the case. We have to wait for Court verdict in coming days.
