BRS has proven its hold in Telangana MLC elections. In Telangana three MLA constituencies have been in contest for MLC elections. Returning officer has announced that only three nominations have been legal. BRS candidates have filed these nominations and they won uncontested. Another nomination from an Independent candidate has been cancelled by Returning officer. BRS candidates thanked CM KCR and party for the opportunity.

In the lone teachers constituency, the counting is going on in Telangana. BRS has been in power from past nine years in Telangana and they have proved to be too strong for their opposition parties in the state. Now, with MLC elections they have proved that they do not have considerable opposition to contest. May be in the MLA or Assembly elections BJP, Congress might try their best to give them contest. BRS is happy on one hand and worried on the other hand.

CM KCR is still unhealthy and recovering from stomach ulcer issue. MLC Kavitha has been given summons from ED, once again to attend their enquiry. Supreme Court has decided not to interfere at this moment. BRS is looking to expand its operations Nation-wide and these factors are effecting their progress. But Telangana seems to be solidly behind BRS for now and we have to wait and see during the Assembly elections how the tide would turn!
