Bandi Sanjay, BJP Telangana President, wrote a letter to CM KCR on 20th March. He expressed concern about farmers in the state. Bandi Sanjay stated that farmers have lost money and crop yield in 5 Lakh acres in the state due to unseasonal rains. He asked CM KCR to immediately release compensation for all the farmers. Bandi Sanjay remarked that Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana – Crop Insurance’s importance.
He stated that had Telangana government implemented the Crop Insurance scheme, farmers would have been secure. Bandi Sanja further stated that Natural disasters effect farmers the most and hence, BJP and NDA government has brought-in the crop isurance scheme. He stated that Telangana BRS Government is afraid about NDA gaining name. Hence, they did not implement that scheme yet. Bandi Sanjay asked government to implement the scheme and said not to waste time on surveys.
Bandi Sanjay further asked Government to immediately implement their promise of giving free seeds and fertilizers to the farmers. He also asked government to keep upcoming Rainy season in mind and be considerate. Bandi Sanjay stated that CM KCR and BRS should be preferring farmers welfare as top priority. Well, Telangana Government did not respond to his letter, yet!
