Bandi Sanjay, BJP Telangana President and MP, has been arrested by Warangal Police in Tenth Exam Paper Leak Case. He has been arrested as Prashant, ex-journalist, leaked paper on his directions. According to Warangal Police, paper did not leak but it has been forwarded after examination started. Bandi Sanjay and his workers tried to corner BRS Government. They pre-planned the leak or sharing the copy of Hindi paper in all Whatsapp groups. Prashant with the help of kids appearing for Tenth exam, as per Bandi Sanjay directions, leaked the paper.
Upon arrest, MP Bandi Sanjay has been presented in front of Judge in Hanumakonda. After reading the Police Chargesheet, Judge decided to send him to 2 weeks remand. Bandi Sanjay complained to his lawyers that Police have ill-treated him. Judge asked Police to give the respect that a MP deserves to Bandi Sanjay. He has been shifted to Karimnagar Jail. Police denied requests of his family members to meet him.
Warangal CP Ranganath clearly stated that there is no Political angle in this charge sheet. He stated that Bandi Sanjay has been charged as A1, because he is behind the entire fiasco. He also stated that they did not put case on all the BJP leaders who got paper as WhatsApp forward. He started that Bandi Sanjay and Prashant WhatsApp calls and Bandi Sanjay refusal to give phone made the case strong against MP. He stated that they have followed all the procedures to arrest him. Shiva Ganesh, Prashant, Mahesh and the kid who took photo are also arrested.
