MP Avinash Reddy has been facing CBI inquiry in MP Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case. He has filed anticipatory bail petition in Telangana High Court. High Court has been taking their own time in hearing of Avinash Reddy case. He moved to Supreme Court stating that his mother’s health and his health have been not good. Supreme Court wondered why CBI is taking so much time to arrest Avinash Reddy.
Avinash Reddy has asked Supreme Court to interfere in the case. He asked them to give him respite from arrest on health grounds. Also, he asked the Supreme Court to consider his mother’s health and take a decision in favour of him. Supreme Court has told Avinash Reddy lawyers that they cannot interfere at this moment.
They have ordered High Court vacation bench to hear the arguments from CBI and Avinash Reddy on 25th May. They have also asked bench to try and complete formalities on that day, only. Supreme Court wondered why CBI is giving Avinash Reddy so much time before arrest. They have arrested Bhaskar Reddy, Avinash Reddy father in the case. Avinash Reddy mother has been shifted to hospital in Kadapa. TDP leaders from AP have met Governor about the case and asked him to interfere.
