AP CM YS Jagan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in Delhi. He handed over Lord Venkateswara statuette to PM and they had a meeting about the pending issues in the state. YS Jagan shared the image from their meeting on social media and stated that he had a satisfactory discussion about pending promises from the State Bifurcation Bill. He also stated that they discussed about Special Status for AP. YS Jagan also discussed about Polavaram project.

YS Jagan flew to Delhi on 27th December, in the night time. On 28th Morning, he met Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav for pending clearances to proceed with construction of several new projects. YS Jagan, later met Narendra Modi at his residence and talked for 50 minutes about several issues. He stated to PM about financial difficulties of AP and how, previous government has overspent and they are trying to control it. YS Jagan asked PM Narendra Modi to interfere and release all the pending amounts to state, referred in State Bifurcation Bill, close to Rs.32,625.25 crores.
YS Jagan also asked Narendra Modi to sanction 12 new Medical Colleges in the state and release Rs.2,397.92 crores that AP state has spent in construction of Polvaram. Also, he asked PM to sanction extra Rs.10,485.38 crores of money for rehabilitation of villages that will be submerged under Polavaram project. Narendra Modi has promised YS Jagan to sort out issues, soon. YS Jagan will meet Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, also later in the night, regarding these issues.
